Sex Therapy in Colorado
Whether you're navigating concerns about desire, intimacy, sexual functioning, or exploring your sexuality, sex therapy offers a space to approach these conversations with curiosity instead of shame.
What I Offer
Sex is one of the most personal—and often least discussed—parts of our lives. Many people spend years believing they're the only one struggling with desire, pleasure, communication, or sexual confidence. In reality, these concerns are incredibly common. I work with both individuals and couples to better understand the emotional, relational, and physical factors shaping their sexual experiences so they can build a more fulfilling and authentic intimate life.
Sexual concerns rarely exist in isolation. They are often influenced by stress, relationships, life transitions, past experiences, medical concerns, and the stories we carry about ourselves and our bodies. My approach to sex therapy goes beyond symptom management. Together we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck while creating practical, lasting change that allows your sexuality to become a source of connection rather than frustration or shame.
Common concerns I help clients with include:
Low desire or changes in libido
Desire discrepancy between partners
Improving emotional and sexual intimacy
Out of Control Sexual Behaviors (sometimes referred to as sex addiction)
Sexual pain or discomfort
Erectile difficulties or performance anxiety
Difficulty reaching orgasm
Sexual shame or anxiety
Healing after sexual trauma
Exploring sexual orientation
Exploring gender identity
Kink and BDSM
Ethical non-monogamy and polyamory
Mismatched sexual values
Communication about sex
Navigating sexuality after pregnancy or parenthood
Sexual confidence and pleasure
Many more.
Sex therapy is available for both individuals and couples.

Many people imagine sex therapy is simply talking about sex for fifty minutes. While we certainly discuss your sexual concerns, therapy is much broader than that. Together we'll explore the emotional, relational, psychological, and practical factors contributing to your experience. Sessions are conversational, collaborative, and always move at a pace that feels comfortable. There is never any physical touch or sexual activity involved in therapy.
-
Not at all. Many individuals seek sex therapy to better understand their relationship with sexuality, desire, body image, identity, or intimacy. Others come to process sexual trauma, address anxiety around sex, explore sexual orientation or gender identity, or better understand patterns that impact their relationships. Whether you attend alone or with a partner, therapy is tailored to your goals.
-
Absolutely not. Some clients come in with very specific concerns like painful sex, erectile difficulties, or desire discrepancy. Others simply want a more satisfying relationship with intimacy or want to feel more comfortable talking about sex. You don't need to wait until something feels like a crisis. Therapy can help you better understand yourself and strengthen your relationships at any stage.
-
Yes. Talking about sex can feel vulnerable, especially if you've worried about being judged or misunderstood. My goal is to create a space where you can speak openly about your experiences, questions, values, and concerns without shame. I work with clients from a wide range of relationship structures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and sexual interests with curiosity, warmth, and respect.
